Tijarafe - Aguatavar - La Palma
This stunning country house in an excellent location was built in 2016 using brick construction. It is fully oriented to the west – offering unique sea views from everywhere in the house. The house is registered as a residential property and can be used both for living purposes and as a rental property (application for "Vivienda vacacional" is possible). All three sections that compose the house have Canarian wooden ceilings (Riga Honduras). The house is protected against rising dampness; even the roof and floor are insulated. The wooden windows and doors have double glazing and were crafted by a German carpenter from Puntagorda. The solid interior doors in Canarian style were crafted by a carpenter from Los Llanos. The inside of the house is fully tiled. Outdoors, it boasts a 147m² wraparound terrace with natural stone flooring (Laja gris), with 42m² covered by an authentic pergola. The heart of the house is the 36m² living/dining and kitchen area, featuring a fireplace connection; the currently connected wood stove ensures cozy winter evenings. There's a bedroom with a bathroom both in the southern and northern parts of the house. The northern wing can also be used as a guest apartment since it has its own entrance door, in addition to the interior doors to the living and kitchen areas. Water and sewage connections for the installation of a mini-kitchen are also present in this room. Behind the house, there's a discreet outdoor shower. Adjacent to the kitchen, there is a utility room with washing machine connections and space for storage shelves. Next to the front door, an external door leads to a small workshop (3.75m²). On the west terrace, which can accommodate a large table and chairs, there's an outdoor kitchen with a gas stove, sink, and an impressive pizza oven. Behind the house lies a small pool measuring 2.5m x 1.5m, heated by its own solar panel. In the summer, it regularly reaches temperatures around 30°C in the afternoons. In the carport, besides the parking spot, there's ample space for seating near the barbecue area. The house is equipped with a 1.8kWp photovoltaic system and a 3.3kW lithium-ion storage battery. It's also connected to the electrical grid for the cloudier winter days. Currently, the photovoltaic system achieves a self-sufficiency rate of about 95%. Combined with private gallery water that can be rented and an in-house water tank (full installation in place), this property can operate completely autonomously. The grounds feature a large garden with numerous fruit trees and an irrigation system
